Carl Weiman Science Education Initiative (CWSEI): The CWSEI is a multi-year project aimed improving undergraduate education at the University of British Columbia. Within this initiative, CWSEI central staff and Science Teaching and Learning Fellows (STLF) work with instructors to establish what students should learn, examine how students are learning, and help implement evidence-based research practices in the classroom.

CWSEI Life Science Blog: a blog presented by the biology STLFs to highlight pedagogical activities and best teaching methods to the undergraduate biology community, as well as the broader undergraduate teaching community at UBC.

Physiology Education Research Consortium (PERC): collaborative research and development effort among 6 physiologists and physiology educators representing post-secondary institutions ranging from the community college to medical school level improve life science education in general and physiology education in particular.develop materials and techniques that will help students build better mental models of physiological systems

Advances in Physiology Education:  A peer-reviewed journal that promotes and disseminates educational scholarship to enhance teaching and learning of physiology.

Bioconductor: A open source project that provides software packages for the analysis  of high-throughput genomic data. The software packages use the R statistical programming language.
